“Didn’t Go to Try & Make a Lot of Money From LIV”: PGA Tour Pro Still Under Suspension Opens Up

Wesley Bryan just wants to play and make YouTube Golf videos. Instead, he's caught in a PGA Tour suspension that's left him frustrated and searching for answers.
The PGA Tour pro found himself sidelined after participating in the LIV Duels, a YouTube-based content series that paired him with LIV Golf players.
Bryan argues the punishment doesn't fit the crime, pointing out the massive difference between creating social media content and actually joining the breakaway league.
"I didn't go to try and make a lot of money from LIV. I didn't go to do anything to benefit financially. I went to create the best content," Bryan clarified on February 3, while appearing on Dan on Golf.
"Yes, there was a small purse attached to it of which the professional golfers weren't entitled to, and it was just for the creators cuz kind of built by the creators," he added.

The suspension has left Bryan stuck dealing with the PGA Tour’s murky rules about YouTube golf content. The rules are vague, and that makes things really frustrating for creators like him.
What bothers him even more than the suspension is the silence after it. Bryan says the Tour won’t talk to him or return his calls, which has left him confused and annoyed. He is just trying to figure out what to do next.

Despite the setback, Bryan hasn't abandoned hope of returning to competitive golf. He's eyeing smaller PGA Tour events where his presence and YouTube platform could create mutual value.
The goal isn't just to play, it's to document the journey back through Monday qualifiers or Q-school for his audience.
Bryan also put to rest any notion that LIV Golf offered him a team spot. He was never approached as a player, only as a content creator for the Duels format.
His priority remains YouTube golf, which he sees as a powerful vehicle for growing the game and connecting with fans in ways traditional media can't match.
The public rallied behind Bryan throughout this controversy, but he's cautious about the response. While appreciating the support, he explicitly discourages boycotts of the PGA Tour. Bryan wants unity in golf, not division, even as he fights for his own playing rights in an increasingly complicated landscape.
