A woman walked into a Goodwill, spotted a bag of golf clubs, sent her husband a video asking if he was interested, and accidentally found one of golf's most coveted putters for $19.99.
The clip has since been viewed 4.3 million times.
Content creator Caroline Ecker posted the find on TikTok on July 14, per BroBible. The video shows Ecker at her local Goodwill filming a bag of clubs and asking her husband, Kyle, if he wants them. He called her immediately. She bought them.
Back home, the unboxing told the story. Kyle pulled out a Scotty Cameron TeI3 putter, one of the most sought-after putters in golf, with the Cameron name engraved on the grip and the iconic Scotty Cameron head cover still attached.

"I'm gonna freaking lose it. I cannot believe this," Kyle said in the video, per BroBible. He took the cover off. "Oh, my God. Look at that."
He held the club and said, "This is gonna take my putting game to a whole 'nother level." Ecker asked straight, "Worth 20 bucks?" Kyle's answer was instant. "Worth 20 bucks, for sure."
The TeI3 model sells on eBay between $300 and $500, per BroBible. Ecker captioned the video simply, "I Think I Just Won Wife of the Year."
The comments section agreed. One viewer put it in terms anyone could understand. "I'll explain this in Pokémon terms," they wrote. "She just found a 1st edition Charizard for $30."
Goodwill golf finds are becoming a thing
Ecker isn't the first person to strike gold at a thrift store on the fairway front.
TikToker Laziz Baldwin went viral last year after finding a PING G30 driver at his local Goodwill, per BroBible. The PING G30 also sells for hundreds of dollars online.
Baldwin's advice to his followers was direct. Check Goodwill before paying full price for premium equipment.
Part of what makes a Scotty Cameron discovery so significant is the brand's standing in golf collectible circles. Scotty Cameron putters dominate the golf collectible sphere, with some of golf's biggest names, including Tiger Woods, swearing by the craftsmanship. Seeing a "Circle T" design on certain putters can turn a $500 club into $50,000.
Scotty Cameron limited editions regularly change hands for in excess of $1,000, some much more, per Best-Putter.com. Top prices are paid for putters in mint condition with the headcover intact. Kyle spotted the Scotty Cameron head cover before he even saw the putter, which is exactly why he called Ecker the moment she sent the video.
