Women’s TGL: Star Recruits, Investors, and Everything We Know So Far

A new era in women's golf begins in 2026. The Women's TGL has already signed some of the sport's biggest names, including Lexi Thompson and Lydia Ko.
“Partnering with TMRW Sports on WTGL reflects our belief that innovation can help the game reach new fans and create greater visibility for LPGA athletes,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler.
Set to launch in Winter 2026–27, WTGL is a new team-based, indoor golf league featuring some of the world’s best women golfers.
With this new excitement now in focus, what do we know so far. Let’s have a look.
Who Are the Star Recruits of the WTGL So Far?
Since the event is all set to take place in Winters, the WTGL for now has locked in five committed players. World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul, a five-time LPGA award winner and the reigning Rolex Player of the Year, and England’s Charley Hull, a seven-time Solheim Cup regular.
LPGA Hall of Famer Lydia Ko, a three-time major champion and Olympic gold medalist. Canada’s most successful golfer, Brooke Henderson, and American star Lexi Thompson, a major winner and two-time Olympian, round out the group.
However, one must note that Nelly Korda has yet to give any statements about her inclusions to the league. Given that, let’s have a look at the sponsors.
Who Are the Biggest Investors at the WTGL?
Led by Trybe Ventures, WTGL has a number of institutional investors backing the league, which includes:-
