Xander Schauffele’s Insane $13.5 Million Earnings Gap: A Look at His 2025 vs 2024 PGA Tour Paydays

Imago

Xander Schauffele had one of the most striking shifts in earnings between his 2024 and 2025 PGA Tour seasons. With a striking difference of over $10 million between the two seasons, where did he falter?

How much did he win in 2024?

In 2024, Schauffele won two major championships, the PGA Championship and the British Open. These wins surely boosted his profile and payouts dramatically.

Even after his seven-win season on the PGA Tour, he became the first player to achieve this feat since Tiger Woods did it in 2007.

Schauffele also claimed his maiden Major in 2024 with a birdie on the final hole at Valhalla.

Those major victories alone brought high prize money and helped him earn around $18,385,320

Xander Schauffele’s 2025 Earnings

In contrast, Schauffele’s 2025 season saw a significant drop in earnings. Official figures from the PGA Tour earnings lists show his prize money in 2025 at around $4,839,867.

Part of this gap exists because of performance differences and the number of high-payout finishes in majors and signature events. In 2025, he couldn’t win many of the tournaments.

Towards the end of the year, Schauffele won the Baycurrent Classic in October 2025 at Yokohama Country Club.

That means Schauffele saw an earnings gap of roughly $13.5 million or more between 2024 and 2025. This scenario might have been different if he had won any major championship.

What do you have to say about the comparison of Xander Schauffele’s earnings between 2024 and 2025? Do tell us in the comments.
