Zimbabwean Pro Golfer Scott Vincent has never won on LIV Golf. On Sunday in Busan, he will take his best chance yet to win. He starts just one shot behind the leaders and competes against players who have won a combined 20 LIV Golf titles. Vincent said he welcomes every bit of it.

The 33-year-old Zimbabwean professional playing for HyFlyers GC carded a third-round 67 at Asiad Country Club in Gijang on Saturday. He sits alone in third at eight under par, one shot behind co-leaders Joaquin Niemann and Talor Gooch heading into the final round.

Asked at his post-round press conference how much he relished chasing his first LIV win against that caliber of competition, Vincent was direct. "I think any opportunity is welcome," Vincent said. "Winning out here is not easy. Just big picture-wise, just putting myself in this position is just great for me, try and get better and develop as a player."

The five players above and around him on the leaderboard have combined for 20 LIV wins. Vincent has none. He acknowledged the gap plainly.

"These guys have been here before, so they know exactly what it's about," he said. "For me, it's just that process of getting used to this, getting a bit more comfortable."

Vincent returned to LIV Golf in 2026 after topping the International Series Rankings in 2025, which included a win in Morocco. He actually has six professional wins across the Japan Golf Tour and also on the Asian Tour, but none on LIV. He also made history as the first Zimbabwean golfer to compete at the Olympics, at the 2020 Tokyo Games.

With Sunday's final round coming up, Vincent said players need to stay patient and disciplined on this course, and he plans to do exactly that.

Scott Vincent Believes Anything Can Happen in LIV Golf Korea Final Round

The course has been tougher than many players expected. Vincent said Saturday's conditions made it even harder because players had to play the ball from where it landed. He also said the greens were harder to read than they appear on television.

His familiarity with Korean courses has helped all week. He said his experience with the local grass, rough, and sand helped him understand the conditions. He believes that knowledge may have given him an advantage over some other players.

"It just requires really good execution and a lot of fairway shots," he said. "That's your best chance at really attacking this course." Vincent also said that anything could happen in Sunday's final round.

"Golf is amazing; you never know what can happen tomorrow," Vincent said. "I could go play some of my best golf ever. That's exciting."
