Anthony Kim Leans Into the Spotlight After LIV Golf Promotions Breakthrough

As he joins the roster for the LIV Golf in the 2026 season, Anthony Kim has taken a path to get under the spotlight in a way he hasn’t done in years. And that aligns with some novel content for YouTube.
Taking to Instagram Stories, the 40-year-old golfer posted a screenshot of his YouTube channel with the ID @RealAnthonyKim. He tagged the video content platform and wrote “C ya 2morrow” in the caption.
After being relegated from LIV Golf in 2025, Anthony Kim regained his wild card spot by posting a 5-under-par 66-69 to finish third at the 2026 LIV Golf Promotions.
This marks his third straight season following a 12-year hiatus. And as he hints at a new video on YouTube scheduled for 14 January, he’s also aiming for a win in the near future.

Pointing followers to YouTube likely reflects a strategic pivot toward personal media engagement. And it comes at a time when LIV Golf and its players are pushed to build a direct digital audience outside traditional broadcast windows.
So, what can we expect from the channel? He might share behind-the-scenes preparation, locker room insights, and personal narratives. On top of that, he might also share some golf lessons for amateurs and newcomers.
But how does Kim’s future look?

“This is just the first step,” the three-time PGA Tour winner claimed. “I’m glad I earned my spot… And I’ll be back soon, and I’ll be winning golf tournaments soon.”
And as far as the content part of his future is concerned, Kim has already hinted at new ventures for his future.
He previously said, “Obviously, it would be a great feeling to make it back on LIV and qualify. But this isn’t the only thing left for me. I’ve got a lot of things that I want to do in the future. Be competitive in golf also, but there is so much more to life than golf.”
Kim’s renewed push into the spotlight reflects a broader shift toward visibility and control beyond scorecards. For a wild card fighting relevance, engagement, and performance are now equally central to his LIV future.
