Asterisk Talley Teams Up With Miles Russell For Augusta National Women's Amateur

A new power duo is set to take on Augusta National. Rising star Asterisk Talley will have fellow junior phenom Miles Russell for the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. This pairing unites two of the sport's most promising talents on one of golf's biggest stages.

Miles Russell will be Talley's caddie for the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

"Asterisk Talley will have Miles Russell on the bag at next week's Augusta National Women's Amateur," Golf.com reported.

This partnership comes after a long line of shared success, and with both athletes being fresh off winning the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley and having a win streak at the 2025 Junior Ryder Cup, it is easy to see why.

Talley has seen a rapid rise recently, and with Russell, who has just become the youngest to make a cut at the Korn Ferry Tour, she has a caddie who can appreciate the level of pressure at the top.

With the goal of utilizing their undefeated partnership to battle the infamous rolling hills at Augusta National, Talley hopes that having a peer like Russell with a strong game plan on the bag will help them to ease the challenge of Augusta National.

Building on a Legacy of Junior Success

Russell's decision to caddie shows the mutual respect between the two champions. This pairing also follows a tradition of top golfers supporting one another.

"Me and Miles are good friends, so I think it's nice for us to win this tournament. I know it gives us both a lot of confidence," Talley said at the Junior Invitational about teaming up with Russell.

"I mean we just had a great week this week and I think we're going to take that with us for the next couple of tournaments," added the golfer.

This isn't the first time the duo have paried up either. They were teammates on the U.S. National Junior Team. In fact, the pair even led Team USA to victory at the 2025 Junior Ryder Cup.

How do you think they'll fare at the ANWA? Tell us in the comments.
