Bryson DeChambeau’s Role in LIV Golf Becomes Clearer After Fresh Update

via Usta

LIV Golf has been steadily advancing beyond just being a breakaway league, and Bryson DeChambeau is slowly transforming into a valuable business asset. DeChambeau seems to be joining LIV Golf’s fundraising team.

The "Scientist" has consistently led his Crushers GC to success, including the recent LIV Golf South Africa. The golfer is now extending his reach beyond the playing field into the boardroom, as LIV CEO Scott O’Neil recently broke news to Golf.com about how important DeChambeau is to the league’s fundraising pitches.

“Bryson is an extraordinary partner. He is the most popular golfer on the planet...Bryson has asked to sit side by side with me and Ducera [LIV’s investment bank] to raise money together.”

This new development arose out of the recent strategies that the CEO and the investment bank have been pursuing to develop a funding and partnership model for the next phase of the league.

The CEO commented on rumors about the golf star’s commitment to the league as well.

“He's winning. He loves team golf. He believes in the vision of LIV. He's willing to travel around the world, grow the game.”

The player’s professional engagement in such an important process represents the shift in DeChambeau’s career path from a competitor to a professional focused on long-term business growth.

Bryson DeChambeau's Expansion Beyond the Competitive Fairway

The participation of DeChambeau in such financial gatherings gives a hint that his role is now effectively that of a league recruiter and strategist.

This collaboration uses DeChambeau's brand to maintain LIV Golf's global appeal.

However, in case of the failure of the league's own business strategy, DeChambeau is prepared for another option and wants to concentrate his efforts on his gigantic online presence.

Addressing his future, DeChambeau recently admitted, "From my perspective, I'd love to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe even more."

The two-time major winner remains hopeful about his content creation.

"I’d love to do a bunch of dubbing in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube."

While DeChambeau is focusing on growing LIV Golf, his social media presence provides a safety net if the league's business strategy fails.

Do you think LIV Golf will position Bryson DeChambeau as one of the primary entities to attract investors? Let us know in the comments.
