Cameron Young’s long run of just missing out has been replaced by a very strong midseason stretch that now ranks among the best in his career in terms of total prize money.
Young has gone from being a steady competitor to a player with two big wins, which has greatly improved his earnings in the 2026 PGA Tour season.
An amount of around $8.1 million was earned through two signature event titles early in the season.
According to the PGA Tour website, this impressive streak began with his victory at THE PLAYERS Championship, which earned him around $4.5 million.
Following that triumph at TPC Sawgrass, he carried that momentum into late April at the Cadillac Championship to secure the second title of his highly lucrative 2026 campaign.
The second victory added around $3.6 million to his overall earnings this season. This made him one of the most dependable players at finishing events on the tour.
A Historic Run of Form and Finances
In addition to the two wins, his earnings increased with a third-place finish at the Masters Tournament, adding about $1.08 million in the current 2026 season's total.
His performance during the spring season has been outstanding, evidenced by his third-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, earning him around $1.2 million.
With over $11 million earned in just nine starts, he is on pace to challenge all-time single-season earnings records as the tour moves toward the summer.
This current form is very different from his 2025 season, where he secured a single win at the Wyndham Championship for around $1.48 million.
In 2025, his earnings increased with big payouts at the TOUR Championship (around $2.62 million), U.S. Open (around $0.88 million), and the FedEx St. Jude Championship (around $0.8 million).
