Everything You Need to Know About Tomorrow’s Golf League Season 2

Icon Sportswire

Tomorrow’s Golf League is back for a second season! The games will commence on December 28, 2025, and will run till March 24, 2026, ending with the SoFi Cup Finals. The league was founded last year when PGA Tour partnered with Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley co-founded the league last year.

But will the new season have glimpses of last year's league?

Tomorrow’s Golf League Season 2 Format

Just like season 1, TGL season 2 will have six teams linked to the major U.S. market competing in a round-robin format. Each team will carry a four-player roster. However, only three players will suit up for a given match. This ensures that the lineup remains fresh each week. Also, as per the plan, there will be 15 regular-season matches.

Where Can You Watch Season 2?

Off the course, TGL’s biggest development came with a move onto the ABC network. Paired with the existing ESPN coverage and streaming options, the co-founders aim at a broader audience.

The first match will be the one between Atlanta Drive Golf Club (reigning champions) and the New York Golf Club, on December 28, at 3 pm ET, going live on ABC.

And the final match will be up on February 9, 2026, at 7 pm ET. It’ll be featured on ESPN2. The post-season schedule will proceed on 17, 23, and 24 March 2026.

Here is How The Roster Looks

  • Atlanta Drive – Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, Lucas Glover
  • Boston Common Golf – Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama
  • Jupiter Links GC – Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner
  • Los Angeles Golf Club – Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Sahith Theegala
  • New York Golf Club – Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young
  • The Bay Golf Club – Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry

Has Anything Changed?

Earlier in October 2025, SoFi announced a few enhancements for TGL season 2. There’s a 38% increase in the GreenZone, and the putting surface is now a 5,270 sqft stretch. The number of green layouts also went up from seven to 12. And the size of the bunkers around the green layouts has been doubled in size.

Additionally, there are promises of more customized holes. To be more specific, the officials will rebrand a few holes for individual teams. But the cherry on top points to the enlarged hitting boxes. Now, the golfers can have more space while taking their shots.

Fans can expect quick-paced team play, strategic decisions, live shot coverage, and a wrap-to-March format that culminates in a championship series designed to crown a second SoFi Cup winner.
