Golf’s appeal continues to stretch well beyond the professional tours.

Often, entities from other sports have indulged in the course, with the latest buzz surrounding LeBron James and Antonio Felix da Costa.

From Formula E to Golf

Félix da Costa recently took to Instagram and shared a cascade of posts. He called it “This and that around the world.” One of these slides featured a video of him driving golf balls instead of the Formula E cars.

Félix da Costa’s interest in golf isn’t something new. Earlier in 2024, he was spotted at The London Club. And he was put alongside Golf Life Channel’s Ange Dale and Jimmy Bullard. Another Instagram post from June 2022 showed him back on the course, while between his workouts and simulator practice sessions.

But this time, it was a showcase of around 15 drives. The video ended in style with the Formula E driver putting back his club, as if he were sheathing a sword. The response online was immediate, with fans praising da Costa’s smooth swing and appreciating the rare, unfiltered access into how drivers decompress between races.

Meanwhile, LeBron James generated his own buzz after returning to the golf course and sharing a short clip that quickly gained traction.

LeBron James Draws Attention With His Return to the Golf Course

On 16 December 2025, James reminded fans that golf remains a regular part of his off-court routine. The NBA icon was spotted back on the course, calmly rolling in a putt before punctuating the moment with a familiar fist pump.

The short clip, shared widely on social media, showed James enjoying a relaxed round while still bringing the same intensity and satisfaction that have defined his basketball career.

Although he had to cover a seemingly short distance, he had to putt twice. However, the video successfully highlighted his love for the sport.

Fans were quick to weigh in, with many playfully commenting on his putting style and grip. A few even pointed out his “claw grip.” But true golf fans know that James is still a beginner, learning his way through the golf course.
