John Daly is making headlines again for a hilarious reaction to his own mishap. The two-time major champion posted a video to his Instagram showing him take a massive tumble down a desert sandbank mid-shot, and the golf world is loving it.

Driving home why he's golf's greatest showman, the "Wild Thing" posted a gloriously chaotic video with an even more hilarious caption.

While attempting a difficult recovery shot, the 59-year-old lost his balance in the middle of the swing. Unable to stop the fall, he did a full belly flop, sliding uncontrollably down the steep desert slope and vanishing into the bushes.

Daly's caddy, Joel Cooley, wasted no time and slid down the slope to check on the legend. John Daly wrote as a caption to the video "Bellyfloppin' in the desert," and added the famous "Jack***" TV show theme music, which ran from 2000 to '03.

The incident seemed to sum up Daly's career by combining serious big-time golfing with his signature slapstick humor.

While the fall looked serious, everyone was glad the veteran golfer made it out unharmed. And maybe that's what fueled the humorous responses.

Another admirer noted the loyalty of the bag-man, posting, "At least you got some good friends, old boy went down there like you were going off a cliff lol."

Even Daly's partner joined in on the fun, commenting, "Down goes Daly. Down goes me." In the more serious camp, concern for the local wildlife was noted, with User Alexander John commenting, "Lucky you didn't land on a rattle."
