“Hidden Footage of Me”: Toddler’s Golf Video Has the Internet Laughing

Young boy playing golf on golf course. model released

Toddlers playing golf can be cute. But this time, things were cute AND hilarious.

Nuclr Golf recently shared footage on X that showcased a toddler trying to drive off a tee. A fan even commented, “Hidden footage of me at the simulator trying to 'step on one.'”

The child got ready for a swing, took the club all the way back, and attempted the drive. It certainly looked like he was going to send the ball flying. But alas!

The toddler was a bit off target. And the momentum of the club made him stumble and fall to the ground, making the internet burst into laughter. Thankfully, the child seemed unharmed.

Well, the clip perfectly mirrors every amateur’s simulator struggle. They overswing for power, lose balance, and watch their confidence collapse faster than the shot.

Even the caption of the post mirrored that feeling. “Not me thinking he was gonna hit it clean 🏌️😂.”

But there were a lot more fans in the comments section.

Golf Fans Caught in Splits by the Toddler

One fan confessed, “I’ll admit I thought he was going to launch one.” Another added, “That’s awesome! Definitely thought he was about to smoke it.”

Needless to say, the child’s swing looked pretty convincing, briefly setting up the illusion of a massive drive. But the miss delivered a humorous and relatable twist.

A fan shared, “I laughed way too hard at this.”

On the other hand, there were a few fans who pointed out the errors in the toddler’s ways.

One fan commented, “Downswing way above the plane.  Will never amount to anything and should be told as much repeatedly.” Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “Need some work on the grip too....”

To refrain from such mistakes, one should swallow the club in transition by initiating the downswing with the lower body, not the shoulders.

Keeping the feet grounded and the spine angle stable will maintain posture and prevent imbalance. Finally, one should focus on contact instead of speed to rebuild mechanics.

But what are your thoughts on the toddler’s swing?
