The Korda sisters are celebrating from afar. While in Arizona for the Ford Championship, Jessica and Nelly Korda reacted to their brother Sebastian's huge win against Carlos Alcaraz.

The siblings were in good spirits when arriving at the 2026 Ford Championship. While they were in Arizona preparing for their own event, they cheered for their younger brother as he achieved one of his biggest wins.

"We were watching it on TV. It was super exciting. He played great tennis. Just nice to see him be able to close out big matches like that," Jessica Korda said. She explained the significance of the win for Sebastian, given that he has recently gone through some struggles with past physical injuries, which have been mentally taxing as well.

"I was on the golf course, so I was trying to win a tournament. My physio, Kim, she told me that he won..." the 27-year-old said, agreeing with her sister.

The sisters disclosed these reactions in a press conference on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.

Jessica commented that watching competitors play while being sidelined is never easy for an athlete. She thinks that "Sebastian is now building brick after brick to get back to where he was" in reference to his return to top form.

The sisters teased Sebastian about his golf abilities despite his outstanding tennis skills. Korda remarked that he has a pure swing and great hands, but he does not keep score or warm up.

Jessica and Nelly Korda on Navigating Tour Life and Future Plans

"It’s been really nice to have her back today," the 16-time LPGA winner said about her sister's return to the Tour. She stated that 2023 was tough and isolating without having her sister to share practice rounds and dinners with.

The sisters are now sharing a house in Arizona with their mother and Jessica's son, Greyson. This support system is important because Jessica is now competing for the first time in 3 years after her back injury and maternity leave.

"I definitely prioritize my time with my son over golf, so it's not nearly as exciting as it used to be practicing," revealed Jessica. She is currently managing back pain and is only practicing about three times a week.

Nelly Korda explained that she is already planning her wedding for 2027. In fact, she is already ahead of the game, having secured a venue and a date.

Interestingly, and in a unique family coincidence, their brother Sebastian and his fiancée are also planning their wedding. Nelly shared that it has been great to experience this phase of life together as a family.
