Jon Rahm is starting to get into the groove on the LIV Golf circuit.
After winning a major in Hong Kong, the Spaniard came to the Sentosa Golf Club with added motivation.
Rahm has highlighted his most recent achievements, noting the profound impact of winning. Personally, his victory has put to rest the naysayers, the critics of his performance over the last two seasons.
In the press conference, Rahm disclosed the most significant change to his equipment. "Only driver. The only change from last year is the new Quantum driver," said the captain of Legion XIII.
Rahm needed the new driver to better control his ball flight. "What I see with the Quantum, at least for me, I do not see the left miss as much," Rahm stated.

Interestingly, he's not the only one using the Quantum driver. Players like Akshay Bhatia used the Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond Max driver and won the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational just days ago.
Rahm tries to avoid changing his entire setup and usually only changes the head. He has noted difficulties when trying to overengineer his setup.
Given that his new driver is already better suited to a more reliable fade, Rahm has mentioned that his confidence in the Masters has increased significantly. The adjustment improved a crucial aspect of confidence off the tee.
Jon Rahm's Global Ambition and Mastery
Jon Rahm's victory in Hong Kong marks his 8th win in 8 different countries. He now hopes to achieve a feat that only legends like Seve Ballesteros have, in winning tournaments in over 20 countries.
"It shows the true greatness of a player if you can win in any type of environment," Rahm said. He considers the game's greats, those who can win in all types of setups.
The Spaniard still has to finish his business in Singapore before traveling to South Africa. As far as Augusta is concerned, he will deal with that when the time comes.
In addition to the equipment, the mental concentration of Rahm is not disrupted by external factors. He also stressed the necessity to compartmentalize personal challenges to ensure that performance is high.
It is yet to be seen whether this technical move will deliver historic back-to-back title wins.
Rahm takes this energy to the LIV Golf Singapore tournament that will start, in fact, this Thursday, March 12, 2026.
