LeBron James' Golf Swing Triggers Very Harsh Online Criticism: "Closer to Barkley Than Curry"

While Lebron James certainly dominates the court in basketball, his golf swing is another story.
One of his recent swing attempts has gone viral, but not in the way James would like, as he is now receiving tons of ridicule from fans around the world.
Social media users quickly dissected the mechanics. One particularly astute critic commented, "somewhat closer to Barkley than to Curry," referring to the hitch-and-glitchy technique of Charles Barkley rather than the professional-grade scratch golfer Stephen Curry.
The account NUCLRGOLF on X recently posted a video showing what has been described as a swing way outside the norm, and, of course, the internet is having a field day. One of the criticisms that hit the video hardest was a comparison of his basketball talent to his apparent golf skills.
The forward for the Los Angeles Lakers played a round of golf recently, and the video shows him displaying a technique that is way below what any championship golfer would display.
LeBron James' Struggle on the Fairway
Like most fans, LeBron James' performance in the NBA finals is praised, but while he is at the golf tee, he is not able to showcase all of his impressive physical attributes.
One fan commented, "I was hoping for better." Another fan mockingly took a dig and commented, "Better than his defense."
LeBron's situation is challenging because, to him, the perception of being a "beginner" is inconsistent with his established success.
However, contrary to scripted golf content creators, this unedited footage is, in fact, an accurate portrayal of a mediocre golfer, and for LeBron, that might be considered a bit embarrassing.
Another fan even went on to say, "The balls not even teed up straight." While another supported LeGOAT by saying "Not bad bro just needs to slow down his back swing and keep head more down."
LeBron isn't the first NBA star to have difficulty with a golf club. Public mockery has been directed at players like Shaquille O'Neal for his embarrassing golf swing, proving that even unparalleled court vision doesn't seamlessly translate to the golf course.
Now, fans are speculating whether he will hire a golf coach or continue playing the sport in which he actually wears a crown.
