Ahead of the 2026 Rivera Maya Championship, Linn Grant explained that her boyfriend is also her caddie. The Swedish star explained how that personal connection helps her on the greens.
When asked about how important it is to have her boyfriend by her side when things don't work out on the greens, the LPGA star said, "very important."
"It's not always easy... I think communication is always difficult in any relationship you have," Grant told the media during the press conference in Mayakoba. However, also argued that having her partner by her side gives her confidence.
"I think for the two of us it's a little bit easier because we want to spend time together. So, yeah, I think that's a strength that we have that we just bring out on the golf course," Grant said on Tuesday.

And it seems like the 26-year-old will need that support at the El Camaleon Golf Club. Although her season started well, things haven't gone in her favor since March.
Linn Grant has hit a rough patch
"Right now, golf is not my friend. We're having a bit of a battle, which is fine. I think that's part of being a professional athlete," Grant said during the press conference.
After finishing T10 at the Women's World Championship, Grant's season took a downturn, with her missing cuts in her last three tournaments.
Linn Grant missed cuts at the Founders Cup and Ford Championship in March, and just last week missed the cut at the Chevron Championship.
While she was originally slated to play the ARAMCO Championship as well, she withdrew. So, the question is, can she turn things around when she tees off tomorrow at the Rivera Maya Open?
