Logan Paul Admits Kai Trump’s Golf Handicap Caught Him Off Guard: “I Wish I Knew”

Lately, Kai Trump has been garnering attention with her LPGA debut in November 2025, despite ranking outside the top 450 in the US junior list. But her +0.5 handicap has stunned many. Proof of her strength as a golfer, the handicap surprised even Logan Paul.
In her recent YouTube video, Trump revealed that she spent a day with Logan and Jake Paul to experience some fight night moments. That’s when the older Paul brother introduced the golfer to his wife, Nina Agdal. It didn’t take long for Agdal to comment, “I heard you’re really good at golf, which is really impressive.”
But there was one aspect of Kai Trump’s game that the couple didn’t completely understand at first. And that was her handicap. It extracted an honest response from Trump. “I can’t remember the last time I plugged in my handicap,” she admitted.
Paul was charmed. When Trump confirmed her handicap numbers, his voice had a hint of regret and awe. He exclaimed, “I wish I knew!” Giving away half a stroke to one’s opponent certainly has a strong ring to it.

Trump’s LPGA debut at the ANNIKA wasn’t really a successful run. She finished last with a first-round 13-over-par 83, missing the cut in the second round, and hitting nine bogeys and two double bogeys. But her outlook revealed a quirk that many lack.
Kai Trump opens up about her first LPGA performance
"I was definitely more nervous than I expected, but I thought I hit a lot of great shots out there,” said the 18-year-old. “And obviously being my first LPGA event, now I kind of know how it goes. I felt like a little out of order in the beginning, but I kind of got it going afterwards.”
Talking about her future, following the debut, Kai Trump had nothing but hope for success. She told Golf Channel, “I just signed with the University of Miami on Wednesday, so I mean, more tournaments and eventually go to college.”
Despite the growing woes of her LPGA debut, Kai Trump’s confidence and elite handicap suggest a long-term trajectory worth watching. If nothing else, she has already earned respect from unexpected corners. And Logan Paul is only one of them.
