Lottie Woad's eventful 2025 season helped her enter the LPGA Tour, and now that she has made it, she is hoping to shine in the Tour by implementing the lessons she has learnt along the way.

Currently gearing up for the 2026 Honda LPGA Thailand, Woad appeared before the media at the pre-event press conference, detailing how the 2025 season taught her to plan, something she would like to do and perform even better this season.

She said, "I think I learned a lot about kind of preparing, and kind of, planning my weeks in tournament and off tournament as well. Kind of, working out how many events I want to do in a row. Stuff like that."

Woad turned pro in July 2025 and joined the LPGA Tour under its LEAP Program. She won multiple tournaments as a pro in her debut season, including the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open, her first pro tournament.

However, during the press conference Woad highlighted how she spent most of the year thinking about earning the LPGA card. Hence, she feels "nice" to have a full pro season ahead of her.

"I'm excited to kind of know what I was playing this year. Last year was trying get the card and work it out from there, so it's nice to think ahead a lot more," said the 22-year-old.

Well, Woad has now accomplished what she was wishing for in 2025. Not just that, she also won the event where she made her pro-debut. However, Woad wouldn't stay limited to performing just in LPGA Tour events.

Lottie Woad Has Been Added to the WTGL Roster

It hasn't been even a year since Woad turned pro, but the WTGL brass has already spotted her caliber. According to Reuters, the women's tech-infused golf league included Woad in its roster, along with world No. 15, Rose Zhang.

TGL launched its all-women's version, the WTGL, a few days following the beginning of this year. Subsequently, the league authorities announced the inclusion of several noted women's golfers, such as world No. 1, Jeeno Thitikul, and the famous world No. 5, Charley Hull.

While these women have been playing as pros since multiple years, WTGL also drafted Woad to its roster despite her relative inexperience.

Woad's accomplishments within a year of turning pro say that she probably has a bright future in the sport. How do you think she will perform in the 2026 Honda LPGA Thailand?
