As Brooks Koepka got ready to tee it up at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open, he revealed one thing reflecting on his recent past with LIV Golf.
The five-time major champion moved to LIV Golf in 2022 but is now back with the PGA Tour. A lot has changed in the last four years. But if Koepka had a chance to go back to 2022, would he do things differently? Not really!
“I don't regret anything I do,” he told the media during the pre-tournament press conference. “I've learned a lot. I've always enjoyed the ride no matter where I'm at. I think that's one thing that's -- you also learn from anything, anything you're doing, so I have no regrets.”
But that doesn’t mean he isn’t excited to compete on the PGA Tour. He thanked Brian Rolapp, Jay Manohan, and Tiger Woods for bringing him back to the PGA Tour and letting him compete.

With gratefulness in his heart, Brooks Koepa said, “I'm super grateful for it and I'm excited.”
But there must be something at LIV Golf that Koepka will miss in the near future.
What’s Brooks Koepka Missing About LIV Golf?
As the conversation with the media continued, one reporter wondered what Koepka would miss about the Saudi-backed league and what he missed about the PGA Tour.
Koepka admitted, “I think maybe just being around the guys, right, because we're not -- everybody's not around each other all the time. I think sometimes, I mean we're all one big traveling circus, right?”
The 35-year-old was often spotted with his fellow Smash GC members, Matthew Wolff and Jason Kokrak, on the course. He also has a good relationship with stars like Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia. And coming to the PGA Tour means he’d have to miss out on interactions with them.
“The relationships I've built with those guys and not seeing them all the time, that will be quite different.”
“But at the same time, there's a lot of people out here that I haven't seen in four years, and I haven't got to be around them as much, so I'm excited for that as well.”
Now that he’s playing against the best in the sport, can Koepka maintain his elite gameplay?
