Since joining LIV Golf in 2022, former Masters champion Patrick Reed has carved out a new chapter in his career. Needless to say, it’s a career that’s now defined less by traditional major finishes and more by the lucrative purses of the Saudi-backed league. But after winning the 2018 Masters Tournament and joining LIV Golf four years later, how much money has he amassed?
Reed began his journey in LIV Golf at Portland on July 2, 2022. He secured the third spot in the competition and earned $2,250,000. And soon after that, he finished at T47 at The Open Championship, earning $40,600. The following season saw him improve during major tournaments.
The 35-year-old finished in T4 at the 2023 Masters Tournament and earned $744,000. Finishing T18th at the PGA Championship got him $214,400. Reed then finished T56th at the US Open and got $44,421. And finally, a T33 in The Open Championship got him $84,113.
In the 2024 season, Patrick Reed dropped down to T12 in the Masters Tournament. That made him richer by $405,000. His run at the 2024 PGA Championship ended with a T53rd finish, bringing him only $32,587. He didn’t appear at the US Open or The Open Championship, and hence, his bank account remained closed for those events.

2025 was a slightly different story for Reed. He finished the Masters Tournament in third position and bagged $1,428,000. Later at the US Open, he ended up at T23 and received a paycheck of $161,489. However, he missed the cut at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship and earned nothing from them.
Adding the numbers from Sportrac, we can safely conclude that Patrick Reed has amassed $3,154,610 through his major appearances after joining LIV Golf. Reed’s earnings from the major tournaments throughout his career are $8,941,719, about more than a third of which came after his LIV joining.
Through the PGA Tour, he earned $35,091,205. And his earnings from LIV Golf? They amount to $40,709,215, including the team events and bonuses, spread across four seasons. That’s significantly higher than the amount he received from the PGA Tour in a decade. Altogether, his career earnings exceed $80 million.
Patrick Reed’s post-LIV trajectory proves lucrative, showcasing how his earnings surge now define his legacy as much as his competitive record. Do let us know your thoughts on the multi-millionaire golfer’s earnings in the comments down below.
