The nine-time PGA Tour winner, Tony Finau, has embraced a new chapter in his career. But when it came to announcing the move to his fans, he did so in a wholesome family style

Finau brought his entire family together for the announcement. Dancing to Quad City DJ’s Space Jam, the Finau family announced that he has now become the brand ambassador of Michael Jordan’s apparel brand, Jumpman.

The caption of his Instagram video featuring the family dance read, “We are excited to announce that FINAUFRESH 😎 will be joining TEAM JORDAN!!!!”

Finau also shared another Instagram post containing a few pictures in his Jumpman-powered golfing attire. He doubled down on his elation about joining Jordan's brand in the capation, writing, "Excited to be part of the @jumpman23 family. Let’s work."

Before entering the partnership with Jordan’s brand, Tony Finau was associated with Nike's Swoosh for about a decade. According to reports, he earned about $5 to $6 million per annum from Nike. But with his steady growth, Michael Jordan’s brand might get him significantly more.

However, the 36-year-old PGA star has been in awe of Jordan’s creations for a long time. Especially his golf course.

Michael Jordan Once Attracted Tony Finau Through His Golf Club

A couple of years back, Finau and Jordan met at The Grove XXIII. It’s Jordan’s invite-only, highly exclusive club that greatly impressed Finau.

Talking about the club, Finau said, “One of the coolest things about his Club is you can drive your golf cart anywhere. Like, there are no cart paths or any of that. So, it’s one of the cooler clubs.”

“I don’t know if you guys saw videos. Like, a video went viral where they drone in food…So you can order that, and it comes in on a drone. That sounds like MJ’s place.”

But Finau and Jordan share a link beyond the businesses. Their friendship dates back more than a decade and has been going strong. The golfer even sports Jordans when he steps out in the open.

What started as admiration has now become alignment. Finau’s long-standing connection with Jordan has now evolved into a partnership built on trust, performance, and style.
