Real Reason WWE Superstar Titus O'Neil Hosted This Golf Tournament in Tampa

WWE star Titus O'Neil is trading the wrestling ring for the golf course. He recently hosted a celebrity golf tournament in Tampa for a cause deeply personal to him and his Bullard Family Foundation.
O'Neil hosted over a hundred athletes and entertainers at the Country Club in Tampa for a celebrity golf tournament on March 29 and 30.
Titus O'Neil organizing this golf tournament was to benefit his foundation's work focusing on youth development, education, and family stability in the Tampa community, where he lives.
"I've been an avid golfer now for probably the last, serious golfer, for the last 2 or 3 years. And I've been playing in so many different golf tournaments. So, it only made it right that I ended up doing something like this for myself and for my foundation," Bullard said.
The tournament is in line with the O'Neil Foundation's service tradition, which has previously hosted several giveaways in the Tampa area, including back-to-school and Christmas giveaways.
The WWE star said about his motives for the event, "Tampa is so important to me. It's where I grew up as a man. I came here in 2004. I wasn't a WWE superstar when I got here."
Turning Tee Times Into Tampa's Transformation
Basketball Hall of Famer Julius "Dr. J." Erving was also there and remarked, "Golf is one of those sports where you can communicate … It's more sane and civilized."
Also part of the group was actor and comedian Anthony Anderson, who noted that he made it all the way to Tampa to support his friend and played a sport he loves.
The foundation uses these celebrity-driven charity events to fund its educational mission and promote future fundraisers. Money raised from the event will also fund future development programs for the Tampa community.
It's nitiatives lik this that provide resources and stability for local families who rely on community programs.
