Rory McIlroy Reveals Masters Champions Dinner Menu, and It’s Made Fans Talk

As the 2025 Masters Tournament champion, Rory McIlroy has curated the Masters Club Dinner menu for April 7, 2026. It reflects the five-time major champion's personal history, and has got fans talking.
Talking to the Irish Independent, McIlroy said, "My mom does these really, really nice dates stuffed with goat’s cheese wrapped in bacon. So, I’ve put those on the appetizers list.”
He wanted to bring in some local ingredients with the Georgian peach and ricotta flatbread with balsamic, hot honey, and basil. McIlroy revealed that he ate a lot of elk during his Masters preparation last year and wanted to include that in the menu.
However, McIlroy didn’t know if people would like it. So he decided to put grilled elk sliders with caramelized onion jam and roasted garlic aioli as an appetizer.
And the final appetizer is the rock shrimp tempura in creamy spicy sauce. For the first course, McIlroy brought Erica Stoll into consideration. Yellowfin tuna carpaccio with foie gras, toasted baguette, and chives is an inspiration from his wife’s favorite restaurant in New York, Le Bernardin.
For the main course, players can choose between wagyu filet mignon and seared salmon, with “traditional Irish champ,” sauteed brussels sprouts, glazed carrots with brown butter, and crispy Vidalia onion rings.
Talking about the sides, McIlroy said, “I've done traditional Irish champ. When I was a kid, I used to eat champ by the bowlful.”
In the drinks section, there’s 2015 Salon “S” Brut LeMesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne, 2022 Domaine Leflaive, Batard-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Burgundy, 1990 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac, Bordeaux, and 1989 Chateau d’Yquem, Sauternes, Bordeaux.
Finally, there's sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce for dessert. While Augusta National will serve it “in honor of Mr. Rory McIlroy,” what do the fans feel about the menu?
Fans Feel Rory McIlroy’s Personality Reflected in the Curated Menu
Fans quickly noticed the champion's personal touches on the menu. After The Masters shared the menu on X, one fan commented, "Traditional Irish Champ. I see what you did there, Rory... nice touch.”
One impressed fan wrote, “Elite menu with the right combination of crowd pleasers and very personal items. Bravo, Rory.” And another comment read, “Had me 10/10 until the dessert, but elite menu otherwise.”
Many fans were impressed by the wine pairings. One fan commented, “Not a fan of Rory, but that wine selection alone is elite. Best menu yet.”
However, many fans also pointed out that McIlroy’s menu doesn’t reflect Northern Irish culture enough. There are only two dishes that truly reflect Ireland: Irish champ and sticky toffee pudding. “You can tell Rory hasn’t lived in Ireland for a while,” one fan reflected.
