A lighthearted moment at the Masters is going viral. Ryder Cup teammates Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood shared a laugh on the practice range. McIlroy playfully stopped Fleetwood from talking strategy, but to inspect his unsponsored outfit.

The moment was peak Masters humor, especially since Fleetwood is playing this year without a dedicated apparel sponsor.

In the viral clip, one can see McIlroy playfully grabbing the vest at the back to read its label while laughing about Fleetwood’s ready-to-wear style in the game.

"Who made this shirt, buddy? Interesting. Where did you buy this from, Tommy?" the commentator quipped on-air, reflecting on the particular incident.

The humor lies in Fleetwood's role as a fashion free agent since parting ways with his longtime partner, Nike, leaving him to pick his own gear.

Since separating from Nike, Fleetwood has been seen sporting a wide variety of other brands, but most often opting for top-notch tournament gear from the pro shop.

Since parting ways with Nike, Fleetwood has been experimenting with different brands.

While he did become the global brand ambassador of investment giant Blackstone, their logo will only feature on his cap during Masters week.

“I’m at that place in my life where any new partnership that comes up, there’s a bunch of things that go into it,” Fleetwood said in late March.

“Sort of have to have shared values. Being able to help each other either way. Like, I guess people that I can learn lessons from and gain experience from, things like that, I think that’s always very, very important,” added the golfer.
