Tiger Woods' arrest after his car crash and DUI charges in Jupiter, Florida, shook the golfing world. Woods had just recovered from his lumbar disk replacement surgery last year and was making a return to professional competition.

In the NBC broadcast booth, Kevin Kisner, who worked closely with Woods over the winter, noted his intense commitment to returning to form.

"Very disturbing. He was really working hard on his game, trying to practice and get back in shape," Kisner said during the broadcast.

"He was trying to do anything he could to come back and try and help our TGL team, get ready, hopefully try and play the Masters. Just a really unfortunate incident," highlighted the commentator.

The event took place a day after Woods had formally registered for the U.S. Senior Open. The unfortunate event is a stark contrast to the positive opportunities on the comeback trail for the 15-time major champion.

Along with Kisner, Brad Faxon and Dan Hicks expressed concern and noted that Woods' health is the priority over his timeline.

However, they weren't the only ones who gave their opinion on Woods' incident. "He’s done his work in the game of golf. Nothing he’s going to do on the Champions Tour, with all due respect," explained Golf Channel’s Brandel Chamblee.

Concerns Mount for Tiger Woods

Brad Faxon commented on Woods' extraordinary impact on the golf community by stating, "He's the biggest needle mover in our sport." When Woods is seen practicing at his home course, it becomes the center of attention.

Foremost, Woods is the Future Competitions Committee chairman for the PGA Tour. His role in shaping the tour's strategic direction makes this issue beyond personal for Woods, as it is also a concern for the entire organization.

The NBC team underlined that Woods' numerous responsibilities and future tournament commitments will need to be put on hold and take a back seat to his recovery. Chamblee also believes Woods should focus his duties beyond the greens.

"His body just won’t let him do what his talents have previously let him do. That seems like the only circumstance that would alleviate this problem," Chamblee
