Charley Hull’s long-awaited breakthrough victory this season has reinforced her standing as one of the most consistent performers in women’s golf. The win at the Kroger Queen City Championship was also her first LPGA win in 2025. So, what’s the next milestone in her legacy?

During a recent interview with The Athletic, Hull confessed, “I just want to win majors. But I don’t think about it too much. I’ll just keep practicing and nip away at it.”

Hull’s profile on the LPGA Tour has steadily risen over the years. And that’s reflected in her career earnings of $10.9 million. In the 2025 season, she made 16 starts and made 14 cuts. But she finished in the top 10 in only four events.

She finished T4th in the HSBC Women’s World Championship and secured T2nd spot at the AIG Women’s Open, before winning her first LPGA Tour event this season. After that, Charley Hull came in at T4 at the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, and then finished the season with a runner-up trophy at the Grant Thornton Invitational.

Those near-misses underline how narrow the margins have been. But with her first LPGA win of the season registered, Hull has begun craving for more. And that has become her new goal moving forward

That competitive edge was on display again at the Grant Thornton Invitational, where Hull’s play underscored why she remains a credible major contender. Her ability to stabilize rounds under pressure and carry momentum over multiple days did not go unnoticed, particularly by those closest to the performance itself.

After the runner-up finish, Hull’s partner, Michael Brennan, openly credited her influence on their result. Undeniably, it puts her closer to her major chase.

After coming in second at the event, Brennan said, "Charley's a baller. I didn't really have my best stuff today, really loose with the irons, but she, I mean, kept us in it pretty much single-handedly, so it was pretty impressive."

However, Hull wasn’t really impressed with her performance.

"I've done a lot of work on my swing. I tried doing it last week and my feels wasn't quite there this week and I just played with what I had. Just go home, a couple days off and then practice, because I enjoy doing that."

With confidence rising and consistency established, Hull’s focus has certainly narrowed.
